Who We Are, What We’re Doing

This blog documents the responses of young people in Year 9 and 10 as they come together from schools across Oldham to learn about Human Rights, Prejudice and Equality, Political Movements and Violent Extremism.

Coming together in the youth-led, anti-racism charity Peacemaker, the young people are taught by their peers- young people who have already completed the courses and have been trained to teach it.

In a town which has a history of racial segregation and race riots, this blogs charts the journey of young people interested in meeting and befriending other young people from different communities to learn about equality.
